Bob
A native Southerner, born in North Carolina, Bob grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He returned to North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before moving back to the Lehigh Valley to be with his future bride.
From an early age, Bob was fascinated by how things worked. Whether it was bicycles, toys, or electronics, he was always taking things apart and putting them back together to understand what made them work. That same curiosity and passion for problem-solving continues to drive him today.
At the start of Bob’s young career, he realized early on, that corporate life wasn't the right fit for him. He enjoyed working with his hands and wanted a career where he could solve problems and make a tangible difference. A neighbor who worked for a large electrical contractor in the Lehigh Valley encouraged him to pursue the electrical trade, and before long, a representative from IBEW Local 375 knocked on his door with an opportunity to join the union as an electrical apprentice.
Bob completed a five-year apprenticeship program with IBEW Local 375, graduating at the top of his class with High Honors before earning his Master Electrician's License. He went on to become a respected Foreman with one of the Lehigh Valley's largest industrial electrical contractors, where he managed numerous projects primarily at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
While working in the industrial sector, Bob recognized a need and an opportunity to better serve homeowners. He saw that many large electrical contractors primarily focused on large commercial and industrial projects, while homeowners often struggled to find a reputable contractor dedicated to residential electrical service. Bob envisioned a company built around professionalism, exceptional customer service, and helping homeowners solve their electrical problems safely and efficiently.
In 2004, Bob founded Lehigh Valley Electric, Inc., with a simple mission: to provide homeowners throughout the Lehigh Valley with reliable, professional residential electrical service. Today, the company is a highly reputable Electrician covering the entire Lehigh Valley exclusively specializing in residential electrical service, repairs, replacements, installations, and renovations.
